"Cubist Collage" in the style of George Braque. (1882-1963)

French artist George Braque and his famous friend Picasso, developed Cubism. Using the style of Cubism, we created a stil life using geometric shapes, patterned paper, black crayon and paints. Rather than shading for a three-dimensional look, we folded some of the collage pieces to stand away from the paper. It was fun to take ordinary objects and recreate them in a new and different way!
