"Pop Art" in the style of Roy Lichtenstein. (1923-1997)

Students learned about American Pop Artist, Roy Lichtenstein. He took inspiration for his images from advertising imagery and the benday dot pattern found in mass produced print media, like comics. Using enlarged, benday dot patterns and Pop Colors, students created 3-dimensional relief sculptures like his Explosion #1!
